Can I control AVA without a router / Wi-Fi?
Of course you can control any Bitlumi device through its Access Point (AP) mode. Switch on the AVA and search for the Wi-Fi access point 'BITLUMI_AVA'.
Why don't AVA connect to Wi-Fi?
Bitlumi devices work with 2.4G Wi-Fi only. Please check your router for 2.4G connectivity. You should keep the device in the range of the router.
Why does Bitlumi use WLED firmware?
Bitlumi uses customised version of WLED firmware. WLED is very well known and versatile firmware for RGBIC lighting. It provides much more lighting effects and features comparing to other big brands. Even many third party softwares also support WLED. So undoubtedly WLED is the best thing you can have.
Does AVA have battery?
This desk light does not have a built-in battery. However, you can certainly power it using a power bank. A standard 5V 10Ah power bank gives it 10 to 15 hours of backup in the time of emergency.
Do you manufacture in INDIA?
All Bitlumi products are designed and manufactured in INDIA. We still have few imported parts not manufactured in INDIA as these parts are only licensed to foreign companies. But in the near future, we will try to manufacture these parts in INDIA.
